Prospective Candidates Forum

Ever consider running for elected office but not sure what's involved in running and serving? Plan to attend the Prospective Candidates Forum on July 22 at 6:30 pm at the Morgan Hill Library. A panel of experts will be on hand to explain the nuts and bolts of filing and running, the qualities that make an effective elected official, time commitments, and much more. Several South County school board and city council seats will be on the November ballot. The deadline to file to run is August 6 (August 11 if an incumbent for a particular seat does not file to run for re-election). Let's make sure that South County voters can choose from at least two quality candidates for each seat. The event is free and open to the public, no RSVP required.
